WHAT IS THE CARBON BUYBACK INCENTIVE?
There is a robust global marketplace for carbon offsets, but solar installers have not been able to capture the full value of their carbon offsets. Until now. Aspen Renewables has partnered with a team of environmentally conscientious investors looking to help accelerate solar developement worldwide. We are committing to buying a full 10 years of carbon offset credits upfront from solar farms.
WHERE IS THE INCENTIVE AVAILABLE?
We are currently focused on the United States, India, and Saudi Arabia. As a conscientious investor group, higher incentives are offered to customers with the lowest overall cost of electricity.
Why low-cost electricity? Our investment team is most interested in accelerating the installation of solar for customers who would be least likely to see a return on investment without access to these funds.
REDUCE YOUR OVERHEAD AND INCREASE ROI
Our goal is simple. We pay you for your carbon offsets. We hand-pick the best solar projects from around the world to maximize the impact of our investments. Typical payments range from 3-7% of overall project costs.
WHAT PROJECTS ARE YOU CURRENTLY FUNDING?
Our team is currently vetting projects in the 1 - 50 Megawatt range. To be eligible, the project must be "shovel ready" meaning that all funding is secured and the state and local utilities have issued all permits and authorizations.
HOW DO YOU STRUCTURE THE PAYMENT?
If your solar project is selected, our team will calculate your one-time payment to give you an exact payment amount for your carbon offsets. After the project is completed and commissioned by the local utility, our auditors will confirm that it is fully operational, and a lump sum payment will be made within 10 business days.
